Castrol Aircol Sr 46

Castrol Aircol SR 46 is a synthetic based, high performance air compressor lubricants, formulated to provide a significantly longer service life in modern oil flood rotary screw compressor, especially when compared to conventional mineral oil based produces. The polyalphaolefin (PAO) base fluid has far superior thermal stability compared to mineral oil and hence Castrol Aircol SR 46 is ideally suited to arduous and extreme operating conditions, e.g. two stage compressors. It also offers potential savings under normal operating conditions due to the extended service life it provides. Combined with selected additives to minimise wear, corrosion, foaming and the problems associated with water and contaminant build-up, Castrol Aircol SR 46 fluid provides exceptional performance and equipment benefits.
